American composer Leo Kraft (July 24, 1922- April 30, 2014) wrote Music for a Day for young pianists in 1982 . Alongside touches of his signature sonorities-and a sweet, heartfelt Song-are nods to Debussy, Copland and Bartok. A collection all pianists and listeners will enjoy. Laura Leon premiered Music for a Day at the Composer's Voice 4th Annual Children's Month concert on September 28, 2014 at the Jan Hus Church, NYC.
